Can We Do It Again?

A 1 track blue-eyed soul single (4m 29s) — released October 11th 2019 on Big AC Records

"Everybody's jumping ship, so we're taking to the streets"

Nick Corbin's second solo single, "Can We Do It Again?", is a commentary on the deep divisions existing in our society since the EU Referendum and how easily hatred can be spread via social media.

From its noirish intro to its anthemic, trumpet-driven chorus, "Can We Do It Again?" paints a desolate picture of today's political landscape.

The musical debt to Curtis, Marvin and Gil-Scott Heron is clear but the song is unmistakably Nick's.

Produced by Gavin Monaghan and Joe Murray (Editors The Twang, Paolo Nutini, Ocean Colour Scene, Robert Plant) at Magic Garden Studio in Wolverhampton, "Can We Do It Again?" Is the follow-up to "Never Did Look Like Love", which was chosen as single of the week on BBC London in early September.
