The Independent also added it to their "Now Hear This" new music playlist on Spotify.

Carmy Love wrote"Rebel"several years ago but the lyrics feel unnervingly prescient, taking on an entirely different meaning in 2021. Having performed the song regularly with New Street Adventure, fans of the band will welcome the chance to hear this former live favourite in all its studio glory.
