'Deeper In Love'is the first of two new singles to be released by singer and songwriter Nick Corbin on Big AC Records this summer.

Recorded at Ernie McKone's Boogie Back studio in North London,'Deeper In Love'sees Corbin return to his soulful roots, drawing influences from the likes of Al Green, Syl Johnson and Leroy Hutson to create a smooth groove helped along by some stunning horns and backing vocals.

Speaking about the song Nick says,"Lyrically it was partly inspired by John Legend's 'Ordinary People' - I wanted to write a love song about how challenging times can bring people closer together. The last year or so has really tested a lot of relationships and I felt it was important to have light and shade."

With some expert musicianship already on show from Corbin's regular backing band,'Deeper In Love'is bolstered by the addition of Paul Jordanous (Rag 'n' Bone Man) on trumpet, Tom White (Labrinth) on trombone and the legendary Mick Talbot on Hammond and Wurlitzer.

'Deeper In Love'is available for digital download and across all DSPs from Friday 16th July 2021.
